Since I am several weeks late writing this, I'm going to keep this review short and sweet. There are a lot of reasons I shouldn't like this: I would characterize it as YA (oh horror),
there is no sex at all (even more horror), it is about COLLEGE SPORTS, a topic I know nothing about since I am totally uninterested in it.
HOWEVER: Though the plot is not remotely believable, I found this book
utterly, totally, completely addictive. In fact, I screamed at the end of book two [b:The Raven King|18187013|The Raven King|Nora Sakavic|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1373489255s/18187013.jpg|25571658] (significantly less believable, but equally addictive) when I discovered the author was experiencing delays finishing Book Three.
I have a feeling this is a love/hate text. My Goodreads friends who have read it appear starkly divided on its merits. All I can say is give it a try: if you're lucky enough to fall into the "love" group, you're in for a ridiculously compelling read.
