Basically this was great. The slow-burn development of the relationship was very realistic and full of tension. I loved the character Davy and could totally buy why Kurt would go GFY over him. I especially loved how much focus Burn put on their friendship--I think a lot of the strongest relationships in real life are between people who are also best friends, but it is pretty rare to see in most Romances.
My main gripe was with final third or so. Specifically the overlong separation between the MCs. As a plot development, I guess it was realistic, but I found it very frustrating to read.
Bottom Line: I'd call this a must-read for fans of GFY. Overall, it's a really solid, well-written contemporary.
